An Alaskan Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was for and Alaskan Bride and Groom that work at the Alaska SeaLife Center. It was a vanilla cake with strawberry and white chocolate ganache filling, white chocolate ganache layer over the cake, and then topped with fondant.

I was trilled to be able to make a truly Alaskan wedding cake topper! Thanks for the opportunity guys. I really appreciate it.

Here is a close up of the Bride and Groom.

Complete with a just married sign.

And finally a link to another xtra tuf post of mine.

Best wishes to the Bride and Groom!

This is so funny! I love it! My husband fishes commercially in Bristol Bay every summer and he takes 3 pairs of his "Alaskan Tennis shoes" (x-tra tuffs) with him every year. Thanks for the great post!

The essential Alaskan sneaker for sure. I laughed my ass off the first time I saw your xtra tuff creations. Now a wedding cake, that is completely Alaskan. Beautiful work. You have to send the photos to Extra Tuff corporate. You need sponsorship.

Thanks Ourdoor.mom, Danielle, chocolate shavings and Danazia! It was a fun cake to make. Of course it didn't hurt to that I could reference my own pair of tufs!

Robert - they are a riot aren't they! Hope your ass grew back :) Sponsorship huh? Will send them in just for fun.
